We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

Langley Grange sits in a rural Yorkshire village within reach of a host of major towns. Additionally, Langley Grange is in easy reach of the M1 motorway. Peak District National Park is also a short drive away.

We’ll see once it’s finished. Roads are always mucky, site management are slippery and hoping all gets finished to a decent quality as all the house owners will at a service charge for maintenance. The site design is good and loads of access to the local countryside and the motorway network.

Well spaced housing development. Plots have been well designed and located in a manner which makes the development feel spread out and plenty of space between homes - something which is unusual for some New Build a estates. There is also plenty of green spaces dotted around. Parking however, can be an issue.

Certain design aspects are a little weird. You have access to one side of your property only as the other side belongs to your neighbour and can be gated so you have to ask their permission to access the side of your own house. The site plan showed that our garden backed on to a row of trees which was part of the appeal but Redrow decided to leave a huge gap between the fence and treeline creating a walkway behind our house that we were not aware of.

Green open spaces including pathways and nature reserve. Either not completed or poorly maintained. Road surface was changed at last minute from block paving to tarmac which is poor quality as already patchy as loose in places from traffic and weeds appearing. Pathways not opened up so people are trampling over nature reserve and breaking through existing hedgerow causing damage

All round happy with the house. Design of the house is great with lots of space. Building management and property management not as great, have to do an awful lot of chasing/complaining before we get something fixed. The building site is also extremely loud from 7am until late.
