We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

Kennet Island, by Berkeley Homes, sits just 3 miles from Reading town centre. Surrounded by acres of green space, the development comprises of a range of apartments, Central Piazza with water feature, established community and other amenities. As well as this, the development is just an 8-minute bus journey to Reading train station.

There's nothing wrong about the design but it's not a wow factor. Facilities are none. Building management is not at all good, no CCTV cameras in important areas like bike storage. Very hard to get through to the management when things are not functional.

Relatively nice flat with an average building, though a lovely surrounding complex. The location itself was very unhelpful as a non driver. There was only a corner shop for miles and it was absolutely awful. Some of the mouldiest produce I've ever seen. Also the parking is really confusing.

Kennet Island unfortunately is a development that is very bad value for money. The flats opposite the Hilton are massively overlooked compared to the newer flats, no work is done to them leading to them looking tired and old yet the service charge increases all the time. The development in general has an awful problem with smell from sewage and the recycling centre across the road. There is also a lot of crime and no one seems to take responsibility or initiative to install CCTV to help tackle these serious problems.

Design is great lots of residents and don’t feel cramped good amounts of parking facilities do lack though and could do with more amenities and management being easier to contact. Need assistance with cladding but that hasn’t been updated in a long time
