We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

Crime:Limited ASB, some theft of & from motor vehicle but not a substantive amount. Traffic: There is traffic noise for those positioned close to tansey green road which sadly is quite a dangerous road. Parking: Parking avalibility limited for apartments to one car per household, making parking difficult as most are young working professional couples, few with very young children. Facilities management: poor. 60 approx privately owned apartments each paying £1200 per annum to mainstay, we currently have NO cleaning facilities for the communal areas (hallways in apartments) During covid grass was so overgrown those on the ground floor could not open windows or balcony as bugs would jump in. Fire alarm reported out of batteries and beeping loudly- approx 3 weeks and counting. Atmosphere: generally good people, Halloween is amazing for those with little ones as many get into the spirit and welcome trick or treaters. Facebook group creates a community feel.

The development is nice and quiet and the houses are attractive, I would have liked the rooms and gardens to be slightly bigger. I did not have much dealings with Taylor Wimpey after moving in as I didn't need too, we had a small snagging list that was put right not long after we moved in. The estate is nicely designed and is fairly quiet where we are located.

The apartments have been built so the front of the building which also has the buzzers on that side is facing the road. However most people don’t use that entrance and it’s confusing for delivery drivers who can never find the apartments let alone think to go round the back of the building to access the buzzers, most the parking is at the back of the building. Poor building quality, I’ve had to get the plastering redone throughout my whole property as it was done so poorly amongst many other issues which although minor shouldn’t have occurred. Any issues are a challenge to get resolved.

The design and the layout of the estate is good and generally well looked after. I think the park needs looking at - the grass it not good - it should have different flooring - and could be a lot better for the children

The range of houses are good, as there are smaller first time homes as well as larger family homes. Some houses do not have much frontage and are very close to the pavement, which is not very private for residents. The roads are very wide and pavements are good for walking to and from the housing estate. There is a walkway onto Tansey Green road which is very unsightly (lots of rubble and weeds) and no lighting, which is pitch black in the evening and could do with more lighting. The entrance to the estate is very green and attractive.
