Harmony Estate is a fitting name for this peaceful development, which teams a rural setting with enviable train links

True to its name, the Harmony Estate offers a tranquil base in the pretty Isleworth district – a place nestled between Hounslow and Richmond. The development looks out towards Syon Park, a huge, 200-acre site comprising of parkland and the winding River Thames, plus Syon House, the official London residence of the Duke of Northumberland.

With its candy-coloured buildings and pitched rooftops, Harmony Estate has the appearance of a quaint toy town. It’s got lots of green credentials, too, thanks to its landscaped grounds and smattering of trees. Apartments here are spacious and contemporary – think easy-to-personalise neutral colour schemes, spotlighting and full-height windows to optimise brightness. Kitchens are smart and tidy, with gloss-finish cupboards and integrated appliances. Bathrooms have an attractive tile design, while master bedrooms come with soft carpet and fitted wardrobes.

Harmony Estate is a good springboard for London, and has two stations within walking distance. It’s less than a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane and a 15-minute walk from Isleworth Station, both of which are serviced by South Western Railway trains. It makes exploring nearby areas like Putney and Barnes easy, plus there are fast and frequent services to Clapham Junction and London Waterloo.

Speaking of the surrounding area, there’s lots to keep you close by. Affluent Richmond’s designer boutiques and upscale riverside pubs are just a 15-minute drive away, and it’s the same distance to home of English rugby, Twickenham, which also boasts superb schools and a plethora of historic sites. Add to that a good supply of local amenities (such as shops and restaurants), and you’ve got a location to really get excited about.

Definitely one of the better ones

Verified Resident

Built 2010 to a high specification and standard. They have held up well compared to other new builds. Good and safe location. Very little problems on estate and with neighbours. Service and ground rent is a bit high, and estate management is at sane low standard as all developments in London seem to be. Definitely had a better experience here than most of my friends in similar developments.

Please tell us more about the location and surrounding area to your development
7 min walk to rail atation, well served by buses, to access Nearby Piccadilly line. Close to small shops and large superstore. Lots of nice pubs a short walk, and close to river.

Please share one thing (or more) that you wish you had known before you moved in:
Location is obviously under Heathrow flight path, but you get used to the noise and the expansion should not increase this.
