Sense of community

Verified Resident

Great location and love the overall sense of community that they try and develop – events for Halloween, Pride, Christmas, Summer BBQ – all a great way to connect with your neighbours and other tenants.

Short walk to station. Secure
Could do with more cafes, bars and restaurants in the area.

Good place to live

Verified Resident

Convenient location with good transport links and its pet friendly. The flat is spacious with a good layout and has a nicely appointed kitchen. It’s nice to be able to have deliveries sent to the main office although we’ve found that delivery people usually don’t bother.

Perfect for commuting

Verified Resident

Fizzy Walthamstow is great for commuting in and out of the city with the Victoria line on the doorstep we can get anywhere we need to be with ease! It’s great having the option for the property to be furnished as this made the move really easy. We have had a couple of problems with appliances that have been sorted out quickly and efficiently. The parcel delivery service is also great as it make sure we get deliveres even when we are out. Highly recommend.

Love the transport links.
Dislike the building works going on. (But it will be worth it in the long run)

Service is above and beyond my expectations

Verified Resident

Renting here is totally fuss free, and excellent support is provided by the staff onsite. They even popped in to feed by cat for one night when I was unexpectedly away 🙂

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Access is regularly asked to the flat for snagging as it’s a new build. Management can let themselves in with their keys.

The definition of Ideal

Verified Resident

Lovely staff lovely building still brand new. Location is great only 15 minutes from the center of London by tube. The smallest scratch and you find crew here repairing. Everything is perfect, and the flat is so stylish and homey. Free internet and pet friendly are the cherry on top.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

A huge bonus was that we didnt know the bldg was brand new, so our flat and everything in it was never touched by anyone else.

Modern, secure, friendly

Verified Resident

Fizzy Walthamstow is ideally situated very close to Blackhorse Rd station. The building itself is very modern, with a glass-fronted lobby/working space. It is very secure, the neighbours are friendly, and the co-op below is very handy for groceries. Packages are delivered to the reception, which is really handy. The fuzzy team are really friendly and helpful too. A pleasure.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How long it would take before the new building appeared on delivery companies’ system (some can’t find it!)

Contemporary, value-for-money apartments with superb transport links

Fizzy Walthamstow is a good choice for those wanting to be close to the capital’s hotspots. This new development is one of several in London from renting enthusiasts Fizzy Living, and each one counts close proximity to a station (or two) as one of its selling points. These spacious one, two and three-bedroom apartments are less than a minute’s walk from Blackhorse Road tube. It’s serviced by the 24-hour Victoria Line and London Overground, so residents will be well connected to the likes of Oxford Circus, Liverpool Street and Kings Cross.

That’s not to say there’s not lots on offer in the development’s vicinity. In the past couple of years this North-East London hub has welcomed a new wave of artsy, creative types, largely due to soaring prices in boroughs like Hackney. It means industrial studio and warehouse space is common, which, in turn, means interesting exhibitions aren’t hard to come by. The same can be said of quirky coffee shops, vintage clothes stores, and pubs serving Sunday roasts with a side order of live music. Alternatively, the calm and tranquility of the Walthamstow Reservoirs can be experienced within a 20-minute walk.

As for the apartments themselves, they’ve been given similar treatment décor-wise, no matter which floorplan you’re leaning towards. Contemporary comfort reigns here. Kitchens are kitted out with built-in dark-veneer units, and integrated appliances in stainless steel. Bathrooms are sparkling porcelain with heated towel racks. And bedrooms feature white walls and wood floors, so tenants can make the space their own.

In terms of value for money, Fizzy Walthamstow delivers. Rent for a one-bed apartment starts at GBP1,495 (unfurnished), while prices begin at GBP1,700 for a two bed, and GBP2,560 for three. Fizzy perks, meanwhile, include free internet, a pets-welcome policy, and a complimentary annual professional clean. Put all that together with the excellent transport links, and no doubt these units will be snapped up quickly.

Love this place!

Verified Resident

The flats are really nicely done up, very new, everything works and there’s a great service from the Fizzy team. So easy to get to central London too and the wetlands next door are lovely

That they were going to paint an orange stripe in the hallways – it didn’t need it!

It will probably be great in a year, but at the moment, it is not the best experience.

Verified Resident

The management is super friendly and helpful, the access to the building from public transports are great. However, not having a reception service 24/7 is a big downer, especially when the building is newly built and tenants are having delivery issues. I’ve been in the flat almost a month, and I have not received a single letter. Also my side of the building is facing a pudding factory, which operates after midnight, and is quite loud, but the management is chasing the issue, and hopefully it will get sorted. In conclusion, pre-arrangements have not been done properly for people to live in the building, however the building management is working really hard that it gives you hope.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Reception not being 24/7, though to be fair, the hours were never specified in the viewing, but when I heard the word ‘reception’, I assumed it would be 24/7, not 10-6 on weekdays only. Also, construction next door, starting 07.30 every morning except Sundays.
