Great new build apartments in the centre of Greenwich.
The flats although interesting colours on the outside, are modern and well equipped inside. Living in a 3 bed flat there is a lot of room for 3 people with a particularly spacious hallway and living area. There is also a large balcony on these flats that look over the river and Royal Naval College.
Enderby Wharf also has nice garden areas in between the flats which breaks up the area from being too concrete and is child and dog friendly.
The 24 concierge is useful although have had a few issues with missing parcels and staff.
The on site gym although quite basic is great and right on your doorstep and never feels over crowded.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I love that the area feels safe. It’s well connected and off of the main road away from noise. Enderby Wharf sits in between the o2 and Cutty Sark which is great for travel and local shops & restaurants.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how many new flats were going to be built in the area. Although this is great it means there’s extra pressure of public transport – particularly busses (which there aren’t enough of during rush hours) and the tube, especially if there’s any tube problems.

A new slice of London

Great views, great customer service, access to a great gym. The concierges are mostly fantastic, building problems don’t always get sorted out immediately, particularly in communal areas. The repair team are great and fix problems to a high standard. It is a bit unfortunate that the next development over is still being built (our balcony has had the shell of a building view for our entire two year residency) the view is fine but if you happen to be home during the day it can be very noisy, especially if you want windows/doors open. All in all it is a great place to live and I would recommend.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

This part of Greenwich is reforming itself, as a tourist hotspot it doesn’t have the luxury of other areas as (I assume) business rents are higher. Trafalgar Road has some great places to eat and there are some gems in the town centre. There are not many night life options in Greenwich itself, other than maybe the o2, which is also imo limited

Nice quite area

Verified Resident

My apartment space is large and very modern.
My apartment window is situated directly in front of the sun so I get amazing lighting in my home especially during the summer. Dislikes are the rooms are quite small.

I wish there were more gyms in the area, because during the evening it gets very busy.

Really nice area and quality building

Verified Resident

Like the fact it’s enclosed and away from traffic. Nice to be next to the river with a nice path alongside and lots of green spaces.

Not so close to transport links. The links are good, but they are a little 12 minute walk away which is not absolutely ideal for if you’re in a rush.

The concierge service is good, but can be disorganised in terms of process for tracking parcels etc, so that could be better, can be a problem. The original developer (Barratts) were very good, but since the handdover/integration (to Firstport) seems to have caused issues.

The building seems like good quality construction. I’ve had no issues and it’s always well maintained and kept clean.

I chose this development because North Greenwich is a really nice safe area, decent transport links, and a good environment and atmosphere along the river with the Cutty Sark etc.

Safe area with nice greenery

Verified Resident

I feel that the apartment is definitely spacious and the river nearby is nice. One thing I’m disappointed with is the marketing and that what I have isn’t exactly what I had expected. The area feels safe which is good.

I think that the best feature is due to the location and the security.

Good area with decent interior design

Verified Resident

The interior design of the building is very good and I do enjoy the garden and green aspect of the area. The neighbours are fairly nice and welcoming and the property is very spacious so it’s easy to move things around.

Great apartment, lovely green spaces.

Verified Resident

The apartment is quiet as the soundproofing is very good! It is modern and spacious, I have a wine cooler and a balcony. The concierge is very good, they always get deliveries. The green spaces are well maintained and very good for dogs and children.

I have been stuck in lift for 2 – 3 hrs before.
And I think the high service is overpriced

Having a swimming pool or a tennis court would be good. Also I would like to have a laundry service and a dog sitting service.

Convenient and safe

Verified Resident

I like living here as I feel really safe in the area and its just so close to the river that its great. The management are pretty good but aren’t always quick to respond to issues, and it can get quite loud around here from kids and parties.

If I could change anything I would move to the river front for the view there.

I love that we are based in a closed area with no cars and it feels safe, especially as I have a young daughter who plays regular in the park.

There are very nice views from our development which is close to the shops, restaurants and cinemas.

I am very happy with the size of my flat!

Verified Resident

The facilities are not well finished. We have only the gym so not a good variety. We were promised a gym, sharing offs and retail spaces in the beginning of 2016 but we now have only the gym. The flat is very comfortable with a big balcony, the view is to the gardens. I am very happy with the size of the flat.

The balcony is the best feature of my home, I love spending time there.

Quiet, convenient and safe

It’s great living here but there are a few issues with the agency who manage our flat, as they don’t respond quickly and didn’t inform us of issues that would arise in the flat such as the construction of the new building which now blocks out view from the river. If i could change something id get rid of the construction blocking our view of the river.

Modern with great views

Verified Resident

Love the views, very quiet. Everything is nearby, the gym on site, the O2, restaurants and shops, Greenwich is a 10 min walk.

Concierge is useful but could be much more organised.

Grounds are nice, clean and very well maintained.

Coming from an older building to a modern design is great; underfloor heating, really nice layout, high spec utilities and decor. One complaint is that there needs to be more storage space.

I chose this development originally because lived nearby, but this is a better mix of location between the station/transport and the more picturesque and nicer parts of Greenwich.

I bought the flat before it was built, and the management were great with the delivery time and quality, the flat is good itself, although the living room is an odd shape and neighbours can sometimes have parties and its easy to hear.

Lovely modern space, needs more facilities in the area.

Verified Resident

I have lovely big windows which mean the apartment is lovely and bright. The whole place is modern, spacious and has nice finishes.

The management is okay however the change of hands since moving in has caused a few problems.

We have a concierge and a 2 storey gym which has lots of equipment.

I would have liked to have a choice of appliances when moving in – I would have definitely paid more for a better washing machine. Also I would like to have more storage space.

The build is nice and modern but the building does get too hot and in comparison to previous areas, the property tends to leak more often then not. I do enjoy the local gym as well as the facilities such as the 24 hot concierge.

Well developed area

The communal grounds are good and handy, which makes residents feel good about themselves and the area which they are based in.

We are close to tubes and have great transport links to different parts of London, both far away and close in proximity.

We are based not too far from Greenwich Maritime which is a very chilled and good vibe area.

We wish there was more retail units, pubs adding to the commercialisation of the estate; hairdressers, dry cleaners and barbers.

Looks lovely is lovely but very rushed

Verified Resident

My accommodation is spacious and modern with an open plan. All in all it is a good value for money. Unfortunately the building from the inside looks rushed everything is breaking.
In the hall way the main water pipe makes a huge noise and the sprinklers are hanging out.
Shower head leaks into walls which creates mould. We asked management to fix it and management gave us a 50 pound voucher to paint their walls.

Really interesting area with good links to central

Verified Resident

It’s nice to live in a modern building, brand new 2 years ago.

All the grounds kept clean etc, no complaints.

Flat is very spacious, the balcony is huge and a really nice view to the river.

Lots of storage room, cupboards etc.

It is really hard to clean the windows and outside of balconies etc, so have to rely on building management which this year they didn’t do. But that’s it.

Clean and attractive

The area is very clean as the management maintain the communal area very well. There isn’t a community feel to the develop but people are friendly. Its safe and we’ve had no issues with crime. The apartment is great, its big and has great insulation and direct sunlight. The development offers parking and easily obtainable guest parking.

One I would change – I wish it was a wider space, as we live on the bottom floor, the 2 balconies make corridors narrower.

Convenient, quiet and nice

Its a really convenient place, and its quiet which is great, theres barely any noise for an apartment block. The management are awful though, as they barely get anything done, and dont really listen to residents

I cant think of much I’d like to change, but if I had to pick something it’d be to make my bedroom larger.

Great development.

Verified Resident

Very spacious apartment so it’s easy to furnish and move things around and hang portraits. The property gets too hot sometimes in summer but on the plus side the heating is not really used in winter. Saves a lot of money.

Standard management with decent response times.

Pretty good development

Verified Resident

Overall I would say that I like this development as it is close to Greenwich and the O2 and the restaurants in the area are nice as well. Also I would say the River close by looks nice
However there have been a few spillages the lifts.

The view of the river from my property is the best feature.

Negatives:
Few spillages in lift

Convenient and quiet

Its really nice here as its quite quiet and out of the way, even though its by the river and in zone 2 it isn’t in the hustle and bustle of everything, however compared to my old flat the transport links aren’t as good, but the onsite gym is great.

The building management aren’t great with issues, as it takes even a few days to respond to queries.

Stylish and modern

Verified Resident

I have a studio apartment which is perfect for my needs. The interior is designed well with consideration for the living space. The balcony is also a great touch. It is a bit tricky to get to nearby tube stations as you have to take bus there and not many supermarkets within walking distance. The gym downstairs is also good and I use it quite a bit.

I like the design and the Thames besides it with great views of Canary Wharf. I dislike how windy it can get here.

Good standard development

Verified Resident

The Concierge is 24/7 . There is a gym and a nursery school . The concierge gets the deliveries from you. The technician helps with the issues, they got the key and solve issues. The design is okay, but I don’t like the colours. It is well finished, good standard. It is a new built and there was a leak in the beginning . The ventilation is good . Good security, you use 2 fobs to enter the building.

The best feature of my home is that it is super salient, the insulation is outstanding.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I love the view of the Thames. It is not well connected. It is twenty minutes aways from the tube and the DlR . It is safe , better than Peckham .

Family friendly and covnenient

I like this area as its safe to live here and its got a lot of green spaces close, which is great for kids. Unfortunately there aren’t supermarkets really close by so if you want something small you have to walk down into greenwich.

The best feature of my home is the location as its riverside and its close to the park.

Would recommend, pretty good

Verified Resident

Personally, I think that my overall experience has been pretty good as the development is close to Greenwich and the O2 so whenever I want to eat or commute to any location it is pretty close by. However sometimes the garden upkeep is not to be high standard.

There’s nothing I would change, I would hope they added a pool but that’s just me.

Quiet and Relaxed Atmosphere

Verified Resident

I really love that this development is in a contained and secluded area, you hear less traffic noises and more silence! The river nearby is a huge bonus, it creates and a great spot for walks or runs and the actual development itself has many green areas which is great for kids and dogs. It provides a natural and social element to the residence. The actual house is great! We have underfloor heating which is efficient in the winter and double glazed windows to trap the heat, however they pose as an inconvenience in the summer as it gets very hot and we don’t have AC. We are given extra ventilation, but its not enough. When we first moved in, our thermostat didn’t work, the heating was constantly on although we set the room temperature to 18 degrees this meant our energy bills were very high, maintenance dealt with this issue quickly and professionally. The level of light entering the house depends on the position of your apartment, in my old flat (same development) we got a lot of light however in the one we get less. The windows overlook the greenery of the development. The actual development offers many facilities such as a large gym, a concierge and very trustworthy staff. It makes me feel better about living here. The area is safe and very well connected. Theres Greenwich station nearby, many bus links and living near supermarkets such as Waitrose make this residence more convenient.

There are no facilities I would like added, most of the facilities I need are very close or offered on this develop.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Like – The river is at a good distance which means I can go on walks and just relax.
Dislike – Nothing, its really a great place!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

This area is very average

Verified Resident

The colour scheme of my complex is bright orange, which is very much in your face and intimating to look at plus it is an ugly colour.

The transportation is very poor in terms of arriving and leaving times, which makes the trains very unreliable. And it is a far distance to travel to.

I really liked the layout of the apartment, which is very vintage.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I love living near the river, which is situated within a lovely location, that is quiet, friendly and a bit hidden.

The area I think is abit pricy for Greenwich, considering how seperated parts of Greenwich are.

I would have wished I had known how noisy it would be, so I could prepare for the loudness.

Up and coming area

Verified Resident

Good location with great links to greenwich centre and central London. The area is constantly developing with more facilities. Building quality seems reasonable however there have been a few issues with things breaking since moving in. Recently first port have taken over management of the building and they haven’t been great on the few occasions i’ve needed assistance.

Swimming pool would be great but cant have everything.

Really nice area

I would say my overall opinion on the development is quite positive on the whole. I feel as though the location is in the perfect area, I can commute to work and anywhere local quickly. It is also a quiet area which is good as I have a child.

One negative I would say is that at night, some people leave their windows open and play music which echoes through.

The building management respond pretty quickly, they seem good with issues.

Diverse homely area

Verified Resident

My apartment is beautiful and modern with an open layout. My apartment building itself is situated in the shade so it doesn’t get very hot during the summer. Parking for visitors is amazing because we have an underground parking area. Customer service from the building management is great, the reply quickly with appropriate service.

I would love to have more closest room for my shoes.

4 stars even with terrible management

Verified Resident

Really close to all the Greenwich amenities, shopping, the O2, olde style Greenwich with all the parks and pubs etc. There is a Co-op literally on the doorstep for quick shopping.

The best is a brewery really closely, a fantastic place to hangout and try lots of great beers.

Overall Greenwich is a super beautiful place and we’re really close to everything.

Unfortunately here the building management is a disaster, service is terrible from really unprofessional individuals. This is not just me but everybody that says this. They take personal grudges against people, act very badly and are untrustworthy in relation to parcel collections and rule enforcement and they put zero effort into keeping the paths free of delivery scooters etc. Just very very bad, really.

Even with the very bad concierge etc, its 4 stars for so many positives.

Calming area

Verified Resident

I chose to live at Enderby Wharf because I moved in with my partner who had bought off plan and thought it was a good opportunity for investment. I have been living here for approximately one year.

There has recently been a changeover of the building management company and it hasn’t been the smoothest of process with the handover. The transition from one to the another has been quite difficult and it hasn’t been efficiently dealt with. The issue mainly has been with communication and changes in procedures. I think this will be smoothed over soon.

We do have a Facebook group for residents which is very neighbourly but also helps us identify and resolve issues that need reporting to management.  There are just a few teething problems at the moment, which I am hoping will be solved by feedback of the team. We are creating a resident’s association in order to be able to smooth things over and to be more in control.

The facilities on the site are great. There are lots of communal gardens, which are very peaceful and tranquil. I would have liked to have an area where we could have barbecues though. There are also building a new garden with a sitting area that will have river views, which I am looking forward to. The gym in general is also great, never too busy.

Although we were pre-warned about the service charge price increasing, the rise was sizeable – but this is in-line with other developments.

We also have a concierge service open 24 hours a day, however because of the transition into a new management company, the concierge is not the smoothest at the moment.

The flat itself is lovely as we have a great river view, which is amazing, especially at night with all the lights and the view towards Canary Wharf. We have two balconies, which we make use of more in the summertime. It can get quite windy, however, as with all riverside developments.

I would say the features of the flat are the same as most Barratt developments, which although they look great, are very smart and it does feel like I am living in a hotel sometimes, I wouldn’t give them a 100% rating for functionality. For example, the drain in the shower looks fantastic, but it is not very practical to clean. In my opinion, they have been designed to be more aesthetically pleasing, and I think the features could be improved.

There have been great steps made in the development to establish a friendly and positive community. Our Facebook group has really drawn us together as neighbours and I have even made some new friends here. There are also often dog parties in some of the gardens.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

One of my highlights in the area is the pub, The Pelton Arms which has live music regularly with great bands playing every weekend.

There are regular buses, but the nearest Underground station is a 16-minute walk away, which is slightly inconvenient. It is quicker to get the bus, but I don’t always want to because it adds on to my daily costs of commuting and late at night, buses aren’t that regular and walking home isn’t the safest. They also recently closed Tunnel Avenue bus stop, which was a shame because lots of residents used it to get into Central London. I wish there was more public transportation – there will be soon with the clipper stop!

There are nice walks in the area, particularly on the Thames path, which is lovely to walk along and clear your mind, especially in busy London. The river running along the bank side is nice and calming within the Greenwich residents, which is great as it helps the local residents to relax and relief stress. Greenwich Park is also one of the best in London and it is unrivalled in my opinion. There are so many wonderful restaurants as well and for shopping, you don’t really need to go anywhere else because we are a stone’s throw away from shops like Ikea, Sainsburys, Primark, Quikfit and Pets at Home in the shopping retail park, which is either at short drive or bus ride away. I also like taking my nephews to the dome and the cinema, which are not on my door stop but nearby.

A Co-op supermarket also opened up recently nearby to the development only 2-minutes away. The crime rates within this establishment were bad – there were regular thefts by children, but I haven’t heard of this lately so I assume all resolved now.

I think the area itself is quite safe. I do like the sense of community here because as neighbours we always alert each other of anything going on in the development. There is a real neighbourhood watch feel.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known more about the planned development works within this area, as it would have prepared me for what was to come. I am slightly concerned that the building works will block my lovely view. However, I do think this will bring more shops and community to the area.
