We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

Echo Central is a Barratt Homes development located in Cross Green. Residents benefit from balconies, a 24-hour concierge and a parking space. The development is just a 15-minute walk from Leeds City Centre and a 20-minute walk from Leeds station, which has links across the country.

Some apartments face the main road so if you do not like car noises it might be a problem The building is modern and well-designed, with a secure underground parking. Property management has been poor lately: we had a recent wave of thefts and they did nothing to try and solve this issue

The building is modern and well kept. The apartment is ideal for young students/professional working in the city. Heating costs in winter are very reasonable. Not a lot of shops or amenities in the surrounding but the city centre is a 15-minutes walk away.

There is a lovely caretaker who is on hand. There is also polite residents around who always stop and say hello. Lovely building with a central location to the city. The flats are also well designed with views.

The quality is good and I like living here but it is too warm in summer and there should be more recycling bins downstairs in the bin area. I do find the lack of windows and air flow a bit stifling as well.
