We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

Duet has been a joy. From the viewing process, to the move in process, to day to day life, a joy. The staff at Duet are what makes this place so special. Stephen, Francis, Paige, Jackenson, Ricky, and Sam, always greet you with a smile, are always open for a friendly chat or there to listen to a tenants query. Our 1-bed apartment has been faultless. When our washing machine broke down, it was fixed within 3 days of the issue being logged by us. We couldn’t have asked for better. The building itself is always kept very clean and tidy. I couldn’t recommend Duet highly enough.

Manager response
Hi Jake, We are disappointed to read your review and hope that we can work on changing your view. With all maintenance issues we try our best to communicate to all residents with updates and timelines as best we can. We try to remain as transparent as possible when doing this, as we understand the frustration that some maintenance issues can create of our residents. We are also more than happy to answer any questions regarding on going maintenance within the building. Regarding the elevator, we totally understand the frustration with the matter but please trust that as an onsite team we are truly doing all we can to resolve this issue. Unfortunately with matters such as this, there are curtain boxes that need to be ticked and hoops that need to be jumped through in order to move things forward. Often this does take time and often relies on multiple contributing factors. We do hope to see the issue resolved soon and as always will keep all residents informed once we know more. Regarding the recent garden closure, the decision to temporally close the garden was made due to storm damage. Unfortunately the UK as hit by 2 back to back storms (Storms Isha and Jocelyn) both of which I believe had amber warning from the met office. This I'm sure you respect is totally out of our control, that being said we have to always take into account the safety of anyone on site at Duet and we believe that closing the garden for the time being is a necessary step to ensure the safety of all resident and staff. Communicate via emails were sent to all residents regarding this matter and we are doing all we can to ensure that there will be no other knock on effect from the damage and once we have this OK'd we can then reopen the garden. Its worth pointing out, once we noticed there was storm damage we acted accordingly and had engineers out the very same day (within hours) to take a closer look at the damaged area. With matters such as this it often means that multiple engineer visits will be needed as step by step processes have to be taken. This takes intense planning as multiple contributing factors have to be taken into account. We are moving along with this as fast as we can. This hopefully wont take much longer and things are moving along as fast as possible. If you would like to come see me in person to talk through any points raised I'm more than happy to do so. The design and the facilities of the building are modern and stylish. The complimentary coffee has been a blast to wake up to, and the team in duet throws some great events for their tenants. The management is lenient and understanding, would recommend.

The building looks very much like a well maintained, modern hotel. Furniture in the communal areas and flats does not look worn and nothing looks suspiciously cheap. Someone had taken care when deciding how the interiors should be decorated and furnished. Duet has a WFH area with plug points and a coffee machine, a meeting room that can be booked out, a gym, post boxes and secure parcel lockers so none of your deliveries go missing. There is a mezzanine level with a smallish outdoor area with garden furniture and views over the water. Inside it also has a bookcase with a take a book, leave a book policy that is well worth a look. The building management couldn't be kinder or more helpful. It doesn't matter what you ask, they always have an answer for you. If anything ever goes wrong - for instance the car park shutter breaking - they have someone coming to repair it straight away and keep residents informed by email of the problem and when it is fixed. Nothing is left out of service for long. If you are looking for somewhere to move and are inundated with build to rent options, I've got to say that Duet is a head and shoulders above the others.
