We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

I have lived here since 2017 when development only had limited houses built. Our houses seemed rushed although they were due to be fully done in April. The quality on the houses are not so great. You have a warranty but when time comes there is no assistance. You also get the 10 Yr NHBc warranty and they have never helped in the 6 years since I have lived here. Since 2017 they've had 6 to 10 main cheif builders lol which is appalling. You will speak to one and he will promise and when time comes they say sorry we didn't promise you nothing. The items we chose were not were provided so it's all just take take and take. We have considered to sell up as we can not rent it out or make any form of extension due to family growing and the houses are tiny

The development appears to be well-managed. Our house was almost free of snags initially however after about a year one of the pipes below our sink failed which caused a significant leak. It is usually easy to contact site manager and the construction didn't cause any nuisance

Lovely design, a lot of our friends say we live in a Tardis as it doesn’t look like a 3 bed from the outside and it has a lovely warm vibe. Not really required manager or property assistance over the last couple of years, however, when we have needed it, it has been easy to complete with regular updates and if needed to chase it was done quickly.

The overall design and location of the house is good but when it comes down to handover time and quality of repairs it can be very disappointing. We had to wait a few extra months before it was finished and as we said we might pull out in the end, it was rushed to be finished.

Well Carwood Park where do we begin mmm, houses, good solid structure although rushed through so not perfection, but price considered quite reasonable. Nothing to touch our three bed detached Kilkenny elsewhere for this price, only old cold semi detached properties really erm, no thank you. However to balance things out the entrance to the development is not very pretty, initially you are greeted by a scrap yard, then an old bridge and finally a privately owned towing caravan that I presume has been there for many many years, and the land it sits on is also owned by the caravan occupant too. So when coming back and forth in my partners car I try and close my eyes most of the time. In total contrast our neighbours are perfect friendly, and extremely helpful in every way taking parcels in as well always offering a friendly chat when you are available of course. I would like to also say personally I believe this development is more suitable for car owners if totally honest, as I myself do not drive, and would really struggle if it was not for my partner who thankfully is. There is currently no local shop for essentials such as milk and bread etc, so my partner often has to drive for these supplies, so I am hoping this changes in the near future possibly when the development is complete maybe? Anyway, new potential buyers if you want a good solid affordable house, with excellent neighbours and fun walks you cannot go far wrong buying property on this delightful, very large development.
