We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

Birds Marsh View will form part of an exciting new community with new play areas, allotments, a local centre and new primary school. Fiveminutes from the town centre and 10 minutes to the M4, giving easy access to Swindon, Bristol and London.

Close to town centre for walking, good range of high street shops for every day needs, and local pubs. 2 town parks are close and very nice for those with families. Development is on the edge of town, access to beautiful countryside within 1 minute of leaving the front door. Close to M4 and good transport links.

All of the houses are of a good aesthetic design. We are in a Clayton corner and very happy with the size of the plot and the design. In addition the Barrett and David Wilson homes are also finished off nicely. There are currently not many facilities on offer as the estate is in the early stages of development skill. We are hoping for a pub within a close proximity of the estate.

The development has been constructed really well and we are very pleased with our property. The area has plenty of parking to offer residents and there are a really good range of properties on sale. Birds Marsh is situated just a few minutes from the train station which makes it great for commuting

The houses are a little crammed together but that’s usually the case with new builds. I’m happy with the the customer care after we bought the house as any issues we had were quickly dealt with. The site itself has still a lot of work to be done and things can be left undone for a while until you ring up about it. If no one complains things can be left uncompleted.

The building specification was low without purchasing any of the extras/upgrades. We did not mind this as we have enjoyed customising the housing to our needs and spending money on areas that suited us. The road surfacing took a long time to be finished and there are still construction workers digging up paths around the development. The park that was part of the development is still not open 2.5 years after moving into the property. Being modular builds they are well thought out however it has been done in manner that makes it the quickest/easiest solution for the builder. The builders do not take too much care of making sure the area is kept tidy however their is a strong community mentality with residents often collectively walking around the estate to pick up rubbish.
