Write a ReviewUpload PhotosOur best decision in London so far? 8 Water Street…we’ve never been happier.
Design: Sublime…the interior architects and interior design team did a phenomenal job. From the moment the reception doors open, you can tell that no detail was spared. The common elements (entry, hallways, snug, dining, etc.) are incredibly inviting…modern bones with warm woods throughout. We’re looking forward to having friends over and using the private dining room .
Design of the flat: The layout is exceptional – every square inch was thoughtfully laid out. The finishes make it feel as if we’re staying in a 5-star hotel – from the floor-to-ceiling windows and draperies to the fully integrated kitchen to the perfectly-designed bath. Underfloor heating in the bath makes waking up in the morning just a bit easier.
Building management: 5 Stars. Every aspect of our move-in was executed perfectly. The leasing team were a joy to work with…the team at Reception make us (and our pup) feel right at home.
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
Beautiful parks in and around Canary Wharf with public art throughout; lovely waterside paths; endless pubs/shops/restaurants; a 5-min walk to Waitrose, a 4-min walk to the Jubilee Line, a 5-minute walk to the office, stunning architecture…I love urban planning (I’ve just recently moved from Chicago) and the Wharf is a joy to experience.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It’s incredibly peaceful here – we’re able to leave our balcony doors open all day/night for the breeze. It’s also quite lovely looking out across the private gardens…across the water…to the other side of the dock.
If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:
There isn’t anything I’d change about our flat – we did a ton of research prior to moving to London and had narrowed our search down to just four properties. 8 Water was, by far, the best of the four.
