Great residential area

Verified Resident

Very well maintained building. Great location for supermarkets and restaurants – Lotus Chinese floating restaurant is amazing. Chinese supermarket opened which is a huge bonus. Good amount of space in the flat and good dimensions. Overlooking garden is pleasant.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Lack of bars
Transport links great – south quay 3 mins away , canary wharf 8 mins walk

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Talk of lots more bars and restaurants but taken a while to be built.

Mixed opinion

Verified Resident

Great location if you work around + transport, facilities. Unfortunately a very noisy environment and pretty mixed neighbourhood. Quick access to the shopping facilities but not enough of the green area. Very safe as most of buildings around are private snd CCTV monitored, feel comfortable walking alone and using night tube. Living with a family perhaps isnt the best choice due to limited amount of playgrounds, gardens etc. Building is quite new and meets price vs value criteria, especially compated to prices for apartments in West London. Overall no issues with heating, water and quality of the furniture.

Rude reception

I rented a flat at 35 Indescon square for close to 8 months. On the move out day, the receptionist is very rude and unreasonable – not sure whether she understands her job is to at least respectful. Apart from that, not sure why I should pay equal amount of service fee when my apartment only gets cleaning as shared service.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Rude management middled aged woman

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Rude and unhelpful management – I might still move in but would minimize interaction and not be affected by her rudeness.

Nice and convenient

Verified Resident

It is a very good development with sufficient facilities such as reception and cleaning services. It is in a good location, in the vicinity of Canary Wharf but also have convenient nearby local stores such as Tesco and Subway. The security also seems good, with entrance hobs and CCTV in the lifts. Overall a good development to live in
