This residential development in a converted printworks has a prime spot in London Bridge

14 Oxford Drive is a collection of residential flats housed in a converted printworks development in the heart of London Bridge. It’s located at one end of Bermondsey Street, minutes from More London Riverside. This popular area is a hub of shops, bars and restaurants, galleries and theatres and it’s right on the doorstep for 14 Oxford Drive residents.

Inside, apartments have a light, airy feel thanks to high ceilings and a largely open-plan design. The building is recently redeveloped, so modern kitchens come with sleek fittings and appliances, and everything feels fresh and new. Factor in features like wooden floors, spiral staircases in some split-level apartments, and large windows throughout, and 14 Oxford Street is an attractive restored period property.

Outside, Bermondsey Street leads on to Tooley Street and straight onto the open space of More London Place and the More London Riverside area. Beyond that lies the River Thames – you can take a Thames Clipper river bus over the water from London Bridge City Pier.

You’ll also find Hay’s Galleria, HMS Belfast, Borough Market and the Shard all within easy walking distance from the development, which gives you a good idea of its central locale. In terms of transport, London Bridge Station is just over a five-minute walk away and gives residents easy access to both Overground rail and London Underground services. The Underground station is on the Jubilee line, on the Bank branch of the Northern line, and there’s also a great network of buses and a bus station close by.

As for green spaces in the wider area of Southwark, Leathermarket Gardens, Tabard Gardens and Potters Fields Park tick that box. And if you prefer to stick to the riverside, you can follow the curve of the Thames past Southwark Cathedral, Shakespeare’s Globe theatre and Oxo Tower Wharf until you arrive at the Southbank Centre and London Eye.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The development is at one end of Bermondsey Street, minutes from More London Riverside where there are plenty of cafes, shops and restaurants. The River Thames is just beyond it.

Great location, easy to contact management

Verified Resident

I really like the development. The location is great and easy to contact management. Would like to see more of a social aspect and get to know the other people who live here.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The location is just perfect. The tube station is right outside, and there are supermarkets, shops and restaurants within 30 seconds

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Noisy when construction going on around tube station
