High quality build, modernly designed residential development

It is a very good quality building, it is also well designed, safe and modern. In terms of facilities, the building boasts a concierge, swimming pool, spa, rooftop terrace and security. My flat is high quality built. It was built by Berkeley. They have put a very high quality furniture. Lastly, the insolation of the flat is perfect quality, even though the development is so close to the train station, you can’t hear anything.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

It is a peaceful area and you can’t hear a lot of noise. It is near the park and it is up and coming residential area with many neighbouring properties being under construction at the moment.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known that there would be a delay launching the northern line extension service.

What is the best feature of your home:

I love the utilities, our dishwasher is Siemens. The furniture is very nice too, it is all built in and it looks pretty.

Im a Very happy resident

Very nice. It came very well furnished, top quality furnishing and finishing. Can’t complaint it’s almost perfect! Very safe with fobs and fingerprints needed for access into building. Parking is very easy, have my own spot which came with the apartment. There’s also a pool and spa which I have not used yet but looks cool

As expected for a Berkeley Group development – but it’s a shame the facilities aren’t yet completed.

The development itself is lovely and the flats are as expected for a Berkeley Group development, with high-quality finishes in all aspects. The concierge staff are very helpful, too. However, it’s a shame that none of the facilities have yet been completed – something I was not aware of before I moved into the property. There is a temporary gym coming in August, but it seems like the actual gym and spa will not be opening for some time (unlikely in the next year) which is a real shame as the swimming pool was a large aspect of the attraction to living in an expensive development like this. Nonetheless, the views of Alexandra Palace are great and the security is second-to-none.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Hornsey is a lovely area. It’s very accessible to Old Street and Kings Cross, and yet has a small-town feel to it. It’s also close to Alexandra Palace which is a lovely place to walk and a great place to go and see live music. There are a number of local places to eat, with Crouch End and Muswell Hill both nearby too. This development is a short walk to all of the above and so it is very well located. The only downside of the location is that it’s fairly close to the train line, so the trains can be heard passing by – but it doesn’t bother me too much. The walk from the closest tube line (Wood Green/Turnpike Lane) is also not the nicest at night time and can feel a little unsafe.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

As mentioned, the facilities (gym, spa, pool) have not yet been completed and will not be completed for some time. I wouldn’t recommend the high cost of living here with this in mind.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have not yet had any issues so I cannot comment on the building management. I have only dealt with concierge staff so far, who have been helpful. However, my landlord did not tell me before signing up that the facilities wouldn’t be complete, so I cannot recommend them for that reason.

Modern and beautifully designed building

The concierges are very nice and friendly. The development is very well built, it is brand new and everything has been perfect so far. The gym and the pool are being built. December this year they will open and this is really soon given the size of the project. Every part of the building looks beautiful and it is very well finished.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Everything is accessible, the trains around just the corner. There are many grocery shops too.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Signing up for different bills, all residents have to do it themselves. The management only advises on what providers to use, they wouldn’t sign up for you.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

Personally, I wouldn’t change anything. I am very satisfied with all facilities we have access to.
