Stanmore place

I love the design of the outdoor space around the buildings, it’s perfect with all of the greenery and lavender that smells amazing in the summer! There are fountains at the center near the nursery and because of how quite the area is it is very tranquil to sit on a bench there.
Inside the flats are nicely designed and the maintenance is pretty good, it’s slightly expensive but is still good.
I like the fact that there is a nursery as well because it’s good to have a place on site where you can send the kids while you work.
There are shops nearby and a high street near the station but no shops as such on the actual development sight. There are however a few cafes onsite which is nice.
There are so many green areas and water features that are well kept other development don’t keep it as clean!
It was so nice that I moved out and came back again to live there.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I do wish I’d known that there isn’t a shop on the development, there’s a tesco nearby but I still wish it could be onsite.
I really like the fact that there’s parking on the development, I don’t feel like there is enough but there is still some which is more than a lot of developments offer around London.
Sometimes the concierge doesn’t email you when a parcel gets delivered which is an annoyance because then I don’t get my mail on time or I have to go down and check for it.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The concierge not always emailing you when a parcel has been dropped off is a bit of a hassle I won’t lie.
There is a service charge as a owner, but you pay for what you get. I used to be an owner here but now I am a tenant as I moved away and then moved back again.

GREAT MODERN DEVELOPMENT

Great modern design, 2 gyms on the development.(one free one paid) cafe on development and children’s nursery.
Landscaping is always well maintained.
Water fountains in central quad are very pleasant although some people complain about the noise. The small pond in the front of the development is nice to walk around.

3 minute walk from the tube station. Nice local restaurants and Tesco express is walking distance. And canons park is only 5 minutes away and a great green space.

The fountain sound does get annoying after a while.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Management is always very helpful and quick to resolve issues. Although recently we have been experiencing some issues with the building boilers which is taking unusually long to resolve.

lovely place to stay

Open plan. they use good material. They could improve the design in the flat. It is very hot inside, no air con. I like that there’s a gym eventhough it is small. There’s cafe which is nice. Everything is well connected, station, park, football field, restos, bars, shops nearby. It’s a very convinient place.

nice vibe in this area. serivce charges are high.

It is too hot. nothing much negative around here.

Gym on site

It is very nice and safe and well designed and easy to live. The materials used to build the apartment are good quality materials. There is also a gym on site which is great and convenient. It’s very safe here too.

Transport links are the best and big shops are around and so many green parks

Gym. Outdoor is amazing here. I didn’t know.
