Great little development and area to buy!

There is great security at the development, with many doors to get through until reaching your own front door, making it feel very safe and secure. The team who work at the development were very friendly and provided so much information prior to and post moving in. I experienced great communication and they were always keen to help! The flats are very specious and there’s a great variety of layouts and flats to choose from, all with very excellent storage available. There is bike storage which is ideal for commuters and every flat has lots of natural light with large windows, making the space feel larger and airy.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Slough is the perfect location for commuters who need access into London, where you can get to Paddington in around 15 minutes in the morning. Although Slough itself doesn’t offer a huge amount in terms of restaurants, pubs and bars, Windsor and Eton are just round the corner offering a wide variety of shopping and social opportunities. You can be in Windsor in just 7 minutes by train or a 40 minute walk and there is so much to offer there, beautiful cafe’s, lovely shops and a friendly atmosphere. There is a large Tesco near Slough station, but Slough would benefit from a Tesco Express or Sainsbury’s Local for convenience. There are many buses around, not that I have used them seeming to go to a variety of places including Heathrow Airport. There is no parking at the development, however you can purchase a parking space for an extra cost just down the road. The street itself can be fairly noisy as it is just off the A4 and you can occasionally hear the locals, however in the cooler months this is no problem as when the windows are shut you stay fast asleep.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The noise from the road – cars, sirens, locals etc as when trying to sleep it can be feel a little uneasy.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No problems have yet occurred, therefore it would be unfair of me to comment.

Great development

Great design and facilities. The flat looks really stylish and cosy, and it’s well designed in terms of how space is used – it looks larger than its size in square meters suggest. Great value for money. Developer’s agents who sold the flat were very helpful in the process and also after the purchase.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Very good location – all the essentials are at hand in terms of shopping and transport links. Very good transport links to London, and close to Heathrow Airport and greenery. The location is a bit noisy due to the proximity of the high street, and the high street seems a bit dodgy. It feels safe in general as police is visible and seems to know locals well, but one can see signs of poverty and addiction. Other areas of Slough seem neater than the high street and it’s probably only a matter of time until the high street is transformed too, which will likely boost property prices in the area looking ahead.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Walls are a bit hard to drill, made us wonder what material is used, but in general no surprises really.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We haven’t encountered any major issues. Developer’s agents who work on site to sell the remaining flats have been super helpful with answering questions and assisting.

Modern apartment in prime location

Nice modern design, solid structure and well built with quality appliances. Apartments are very spacious compared to other new builds in the area. Surrounding areas kept clean both by management and residents with organised bin storage/collection. Bike shed also included which is an added benefit.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Great location with plenty of shops and transport links to London, Reading and Windsor. Only down side is parking but this is not too much of a problem due to the bus and train links on your door step.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Loading items into the apartment can be long as you need to request permission before hand for access to the loading bay which only the hotel has access to.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management very slow to respond, needs to improve.

Good starter property, with lots of nearby amenities

The apartment itself is nicely done, despite no additional on site facilities such as a gym or concierge. The lobby is nicer than many buildings I’ve seen, but the courtyard can be noisy with workers at the hotel next door. The big downside is really the view from the windows and lack of parking. The flats themselves are nice as a starter property.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The development is ideally located at a 5 minute walk to a cross rail station, a huge Tesco extra, lots of higher street amenities and a gym. It’s quite convenient although the area itself needs regenerating. There is a regeneration project going on, so I suspect the area will improve a lot in the next couple years, and the cross rail will increase equity in the development. Overall it’s an investment and a good purchase for the price point.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known that access to the back of the building was restricted by the hotel next door.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Snagging was taken care of quickly and any amendments needed were responded to quickly by management.
