Mount Anvil reviews

River cafe and Plum Cafe – two vastly different cafes with very different price points but just two wonderful examples of some great local places on my doorstep! I love renting here, I couldnt get a flat with a river view but the location close to Hammersmith and the river is perfect and gives me the space and everything I need.” – Anonymous, verified resident at Queen’s Wharf

Great but too many students

The Concierge is nice and helpful. The people in the building too.
I would say it is very high spec. My flat is roomy and modern. The balconies are definetely my favourite part as it gets so sunny. The view is not the best because of the construction, of course.
The gym is not finished yet, but I reckon it will be good when it is done. The same happens with the swimming pool which is still in process, and I don’t think it will be finished at least till the end of the year. Apparently it will benable open half day during winter as well, which is not ideal for people who work till quite late.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The park round the cornee is really nice. Sainsburys is really close what makes it really practical for a big shop. The Indian food restaurant in front the building is great. Transport is easily accessible, and you an even walk to town if you want to. The river is also quite close and walking there is really nice on the weekends. I also like I am close to work, which was probably what influenced my decision to move here the most.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish i had known there were so many students, as it can get a bit noisy, especially on the weekends. We had an issue with some neighbours smoking weed as well, but luckily they are gone. In general it is quite a young crowd.

Design of this building is nice but after few years living in this development we started to notice the poor construction quality.

Design of this building is nice but after few years living in this development we started to notice the poor construction quality. Many leaks from bathroom & upstairs neighbour due to cracks on external facade.

Maintenance & service charges are also ridiculously high in comparison to other similar new built developments surround. This doesn’t go hand in hand with the numbers of damages found within the development.

Bike storage door damaged couple of times by thieves. Entrance door to building also broken many times. Many Leakage incidents from communal water pipes and from poorly design pull out hand showers.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The overall area is really good. Lots of good schools, coffee shops, restaurants & very safe for young families.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Service charge!! If only we knew that the management would increase the charge this high over the time. We could have opted to buy somewhere else.

What is the best feature of your home:

Lots of storage in the kitchen with big windows…

Excellent Development.. you won’t regret it.

Keybridge is an incredible development and property. It’s well situated from a transportation perspective and very easy to get in and out of central London. There are a few supermarket options nearby but not too many great restaurants around.

The development is well maintained and boasts high quality furniture and fittings. The concierge team is excellent and very friendly and accommodating.

Maintenance could be slightly better as it typically takes a while for the team to respond to requests.
The facilities are second to none with a beautiful gym and swimming pool.
Overall highly rate the unit, and will likely continue to live here so long as I’m in London.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Very close to transport links and easy to get into central London. Well situated close to a few parks. Not too many stores and restaurants around.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the pool wouldn’t be ready for a while. This is no longer an issue as the pool is ready now.

What is the best feature of your home:

The outdoor space which feels like a private patio.

Location is great. The area is great. Value is good. Great asset to hold or rent.

Location is great. The area is great. Value is good. Great asset to hold or rent.

Design is good with a beautiful garden and modern features. Some material choices (white concrete) require regular maintenance (higher service charge)

Facilities are good. Concierge and interior garden. The central heating has been a nightmare and very expensive to maintain.

Property management is not done by Mount anvil. It is sluggish, based on minimum effort and opaque. Only recently did they (following legal RTM challenge) to improve service delivery.

Finishing touches in my unit were hit and miss but the aftercare service by mount anvil was good. The choice of appliances and some design details are Questionable but easily addressed.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Vibrant area with restaurants, bars. Centrally located with easy access to many transport options and key areas (Shoreditch, the city, Angel)

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

London has many helicopters. Resident associations are annoying. Buy high or you see into someone’s flat 24/7 during lockdown.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

In many cases building management is opaque about their activity.

They are reachable but they don’t share the same expectations I have
