I think the design of the development is lovely, modern and safe. My flat benefits from high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows and underfloor heating. It’s a pity that the apartments on the SW side (where mine is located) of the 4 story block do not have balconies. The ones on the NE side are completely bricked in and therefore do not benefit from the sun. The shared ownership apartments do not have the same benefits as the private sales, such as concierge and access to the rooftop garden and does feel like this part of the building (1-19) is the deprived of these amenities and very separated from the main part of the block which is unfortunate. There’s a huge car park underneath the development but shared ownership also do not have access to this.
Very close to Notting Hill, Westbourne Grove and the canal (10-15 mins walk) which is lovely to explore. The immediate area of Harrow Road and Maida Hill centre is not that nice and could do with some redevelopment, the types of stores and takeaways are not the quality or type that I would personally use. Woodfield road is pleasantly quiet at night, kept very clean and the development is well located for the no. 18 bus taking you to Baker Street and Euston and the tube for Westbourne Park is only 5 minutes walk.
No access to roof garden or parking in main private sales block. Heating is managed by a pay as you go metered company and would rather just pay monthly DD
Had several issues within the first 6 months concerning leaks and appliances not installed correctly but the management company were efficient in getting these resolved
The development is great- nice brick Apartment.
It has everything that is required- the balcony comes with flat which is a bonus and the High ceilings make it roomy. It required good management as the pavement in front of the Flat is badly damaged.
Great location- lived in the area for over 12 years and felt I always belong here and this was the best opportunity to purchase a value in London and move up the property ladder. Great location. The bad aspect is no right to parking and it’s a busy road- the whole area needs an uplift.
No underground parking and it’s a busy road
They are not great with the shared ownership leaseholders which is a disgrace to Bruton management- I will get rid of them.
