Inspired Homes developments

Green Dragon House is an Inspired Homes property in the heart of emerging Croydon. A collection of 119 affordable micro-flats with transport links on the doorstep, it’s popular with commuters and first-time buyers. Croydon is in the midst of a huge transformation, and its hotly anticipated Westfield shopping mall will be within walking distance for Green Dragon House residents when complete.

I’ve been really impressed by our development. Moving in was so easy and stress-free which was really good for a first time buyer. Having the apartment furnished with the kitchen, washing machine, bathroom etc. all brand new meant we didn’t have to worry about saving for those things. The concierge are so friendly and know us on first name basis.” – Jess A, verified resident at Green Dragon House

Our development has been completed to a very high spec with each apartment maximises the usable space.

All of the appliances are brand new Bosch. There is still some construction going on in the development particularly in the communal areas but there will be a residents lounge and shared roof terrace. The terrace is accessible now however still need furniture. Overall, it’s a really nice place to live. Our development is brand new and very modern. Each apartment has been finished to a very High spec. The apartments maximise usable space with no hallway or dead space. We have a communal roof terrace that will soon be finished with furniture and once construction is finished, there will be a residents lounge with working from home spaces. There’s is over 200 flats in the building however only a few residents are moved in so far. We will have a conceirge however this hasn’t been arranged yet. Our developer contact since moving in has been very good in helping with any issues and resolving our snagging list. There is a cycle store for any cyclists and each apartment has a nest thermostat which is great technology.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I like how close it is to the station and lots of supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. The area still needs some gentrification however? I believe this will come naturally over the next few years.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew that as a brand new address, we would struggle to arrange post initially.

Nice building

Location and design are very good. I like we have a lobby where there are people working. Postmen can leave packages here and it is convenient. Only one elevator goes to the basement and we take the stairs from the ground floor. Problems to access electricity .we can not find the electricity metre. Quite tricky for the people to find the address, though

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

It is a convenient place close to the East Croydon station. The GP is just here. One of the safest places in Croydon

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Electricity metres are hidden

Lovely building with great communal area

This is a great building to live in. We are a couple living in a one-bedroom flat and while it is small there is two great common areas. A common room with sofas and tables and a pool table and a rooftop terrace. The building is very secure. One downside is our flat is at the front of the building so it can be a little loud, particularly on the weekends

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Great location in Croydon but can be a little loud

Noisy could have done with sound proofing

Check the planning applications properly for surrounding units e.g. new shops or gyms opening
