Galliard Homes reviews

It is a very good development with sufficient facilities such as reception and cleaning services. It is in a good location, in the vicinity of Canary Wharf but also have convenient nearby local stores such as Tesco and Subway. The security also seems good, with entrance hobs and CCTV in the lifts. Overall a good development to live in.” – verified resident of 35 Indescon Square

Fantastic place to live

Fantastic secure complex next to the Thames. Safe secure and incredibly quiet. Easy access to everywhere in London.
Complex is secure and has 24hrs security and easy after hours access. for visitors.
In the heart of Greenwich but just far enough removed that it isn’t overrun with tourists.
Buildings have a dedicated facilities team with online app to submit and track queries. Community forum.
Great place to live, couldn’t recommend enough.

Really great area but the lift often breaks

I really like my apartment – it is nicely designed, spacious and good quality. The apartments in this residence are generally pretty big. The people who live here are generally very nice and friendly and it is not noisy. The residence also has good security – there is no concierge but you cannot access the building if you are not a resident. Unfortunately the company who manages the building are really not great (Y&Y management) – the lift often breaks and they are slow to respond and do not fix things quickly.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I really like this area – it has great connections to central London via both tube and bus. There are also lots of shops nearby which is very convenient.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the lift would break so frequently and that the building management was so poor

Couldn’t ask for better!

First of all, the security in the building is wonderful! Having a feeling of safety within your living space is an essential aspect when finding home and this development aces that criteria. In addition, the porters lodge is very useful when you have general queries and it’s always lovely to be greeted with a friendly face when entering your home space. In addition, the facilities in this building are splendid, featuring are swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and gym!

In terms of dislikes, I personally feel like the gym is quite closed up and stuffy due to it a location being underground. I would really appreciate a bit of fresh air while working out! In addition, there is the occasional breakdown with the lift but this is quite minor in my opinion.

Didn’t expect that many tourists within the area which can be annoying.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Having not raised any issues since moving in, I’m not sure how the responsiveness of the building management.

Great place to live

I’ve lived here for about 8 months, I use Greenwich park quite a lot. A lot of corporate workers. It’s basically like living in a hotel. The parks are gorgeous. 16 minutes commute, 7 minutes walk and 6 minutes DLR. the concierge is amazing, they really make an effort to get to know you. Walking distance to Greenwich, and it’s a 25 minute walk in any direction and you’re in another area with great transport links. It’s safe, I can come home at midnight and feel safe. The apartment was ready to go when I arrived, crockery and everything! The apartments are wooden floors so cleanliness is easy to maintain, and you can organise a lot of services such as cleaning and dry cleaning. 24hr fire wardens though the fire alarms detect heat as well as smoke. If I have any problems, there’s an app to raise a work order which is then tracked.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

They need to clean up the water, it’s quite disturbing. The rooms are sound proof and insulated, just remember to close your windows at night, at times there are cruisers who go past honking horns at 5am! There’s also no GP on site. Be careful of what you’re prepared to pay, council tax isn’t inculded for example.
