Country and Metropolitan Plc Reviews

“The value for money is quite good for the size of the apartment. We have only lived here 6 months and so far we haven’t had any issues with the apartment. Our apartment comes with underfloor heating and air conditioning which is great as being by the water can be difficult to regulate the temperature. We also have an open plan kitchen and the living space has a balcony that overlooks the water. The apartment comes with a parking space and visitor parking bays have to be requested 24 hours before which can be a bit of a pain but its almost always cleared. We also have a 24 hour concierge.” – Sep, a verified resident at Royal Quay

Could use more community space!

There was issues with mice when we first moved in however these have been resolved since more developments have come into the area.
I do with the living space was a bit bigger as my children are know getting older.
There was an incidents few years ago where our cycles got stolen however after this the building management were very prompt in installing CCTV cameras within a few days which i was very pleased. There is a whatsapp group of the area and residents of the development which i find is very useful.
Easy access to and from the city
The space could be used better.

I chose this development because it is close to the workplace and good value for money at the time of purchase.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I like that it was very quiet and calm and the community feels like it is safe for families. However i believe the area has a lack of community spaces and play options for children.
Both the A406 and M11 are quite close so its really easy to get in and out of London from this location.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish i knew about the schools in the area and how well they do in ofsted reports,.

Why did you choose this development:

Close to the workplace and good value for money at the time of purchase,.

Nice place but area is not for young couples

There’s no stores nearby, there’s only coop which isn’t very big so I would like more things around the area. It’s not very good for young people. My flat itself is spacious which is nice and it’s fairly good value for money. It’s a peaceful area for people who have families or single people. The parking isn’t great not very accessible in terms of cars, would be nice to have more for visitors.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I dislike how there’s no restaurant or things to do. I like the dock though

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing, everything is as it was said but it has developed quite fast.

Are there any facilities you would like added, or that you have but do not use:

There’s no parking here so we would like additional parking for your car and in case you have visitors

Nice, well maintained, balcony over the water.

Fairly quiet, close to dlr, bus stops near the dlr.

Close to amenities like the shopping centre 10 min walk/5 min drive. Co-op really close which is quite new.

Nice being near the water.

New property management roughly 2ish years ago, and that has been a massive improvement in terms of security, and general maintenance of the area. Really good.

Balcony looking out onto the water, and a good size flat. No complaints.

I chose here for proximity to the city, transport etc.
