The estate is beautifully designed. Everything is of a high quality and finished to high standards. Plenty of option choices to choose from when picking what we wanted for our interiors. Very modern designs. All the team where very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us.
It’s a nice area lots of country walks, a spa shop down the road as well as a pub. Very quiet area with a small primary school next to the estate. Our street is pretty quiet, only down side is there isn’t much extra parking for visitors available other then your allocated spaces. Also the main road that goes past the estate is way too fast for people walking into the village or school children catching buses etc. It is currently national speed limit but needs to be a 30 now due to the built up area and amount of people using the road as access into the village.
There’s a good dog walking field across the road of the estate.
All problems were sorted straight away even if it was something small. Very good customer service.
Houses are well built with no major issues, when there are issues the aftercare team are fantastic and usually fix any problem within 24 hours from issue being reported. The houses have been well thought out for families, with plenty of storage space
Very peaceful area with access to a village shop/pub/cafes. All houses have access to 2 parking spaces
Setting up the council tax was rather tricky, unsure why the council took so long
Issues were resolved within 24 hours, answer was always given of issue wasn’t resolved
Some really good extra features included in the build like mirrors in bathroom/wooden internal doors. Definitely a higher level of finish internally than other new builds which I have seen in the area. No requirement to get any extras with a high finish
Great village with sense of community. Train station in the centre of village is really convenient taking you to Bath & Bristol or Dorchester/Weymouth.
Make sure you check the site plan and build start dates for each house. Had a house built down our road a year later after moving in and can be inconvenient re noise/mud etc
Very quick responses to any issues I had and on hand to answer any questions
Everything inside and outside my property has been perfect. I have had snags as is expected with any new property but the site manager and workmen have assisted and fixed any issues quickly and in a very friendly manner. They are all very approachable on site making living here very plesent.
Every one has been very welcoming in the village and is the neighbourhood
