Earmarked as a Housing Zone by the Mayor of London, Hounslow will benefit from major investment in the coming years. The area was chosen to receive this extra funding due to its strategic location near London Heathrow and the Elizabeth Line that is currently being developed. The greatly anticipated High Street Quarter, which will feature a new public square filled with shops, restaurants and leisure facilities, will link the existing high street to the Blenheim Centre. The Treaty Centre is already a busy shopping destination, with many small businesses nearby serving Heathrow Airport.

Additionally, Hounslow offers excellent connections via road to the M3/M4/M25 and into Central London. Three Underground stations sit on the Piccalilli Line in the town centre. Meanwhile, Hounslow station runs services to London Waterloo or westwards to Reading, Weybridge, Woking or Windsor.
