Fifth-placed Enigma Square is a rental-only development by Grainger in the heart of Milton Keynes. Shakespeare Park in Kingsmead is our sixth-highest rated development. Featuring a collection of high standard two-bedroom apartments and three to four-bedroom houses in a range of sizes, the homes boast a bright and open design.

FInally, tenth-placed Fairfields is located close to Milton Keynes town centre. Having easy access to M1, A5 and the A421 this development good for commuting. As well as good transport links you can walk into the historic market town of Stony, Stratford. Fairfields offer a mix of 2,3 and 4 bedroom homes for sale.

Buckinghamshire property prices
The latest data from Rightmove (April 2024) states that homes in Buckinghamshire currently cost £502,046 on average. Terraced houses go for around £369,853. Meanwhile, semi-detached homes cost an average of £446,834, with detached properties going for just over £803,081.
At the time of writing, rental prices in the county are around £2,199 PCM on average. This ranges from £1,306 PCM for a one-bedroom home to £5,901 for a five-bedroom property. Although these figures are significantly higher than the average UK rental (£1,273 PCM in March 2024, including London), it still offers a cheaper alternative to renting in the capital.
