The Woolwich Ferry and Woolwich foot tunnel connect Newham to the south, along with the Emirates Air Line cable car. Meanwhile, a comprehensive DLR network supports the area’s six Underground stations. Newham also features a High Speed 1 link, with Crossrail set to run from east to west once complete.

Recent figures from Zoopla show that Newham properties averaged £417,000 during the past 12 months up to March 2024. This is well below London’s current average (£736,000). Selling for around £430,000, terraced homes were the most popular choice. Flats secured £255,000 on average.
