The Forge in Newcastle
To give you a sneak peak into what residents are saying from other parts of the UK we thought we would share some of the ratings and reviews of residents at The Forge managed by Allsop. The Forge is the first Build to Rent development in Newcastle.
What is Build to Rent?
If you haven’t heard of it already, the term ‘Build to Rent’ refers to developments that have been specifically designed for renters. Instead of an individual landlord who might own one or a small portfolio of flats within a building, Build to Rent landlords run and maintain the entire development.
The Forge in Newcastle welcomed their first residents earlier this year. Situated in the Quayside area it offers pet friendly renting with a gym, free wifi, residents lounge, events and importantly – free coffee!
Residents were invited to write a review and submit ratings on the design, facilities, value, location and management – all these scores and the full reviews will be published on HomeViews later this year when we launch nationwide.
The Forge is delivering on its’ promise to offer it’s residents ‘superrenting’. It has been rated an incredible 4.63 out of 5 stars – this is one of the highest star ratings we have had on HomeViews for any type of residential development.
Another standout score was the Building Management. The residents have spoken passionately about the proactive and welcoming management and the events provided by the Allsop team. The Building Management was rated 4.72 out of 5 which is one of the highest management scores we have seen on HomeViews to date.
