Worcestershire is a beautiful place with many great features that make it an attractive destination for home buyers. Worcestershire has everything from quaint villages to bustling cities, and you can find just about any type of school or university you are looking for. The population is large enough to provide all the amenities you want but small enough so as not to be overwhelming. There’s no reason not to consider moving to this wonderful county!
Picture perfect high spec development on very edge of pretty small riverside town.
The quaint market town of Evesham offers everything needed for daily living with some edge of town larger shopping facilities such as The Valley, well worth a visit for its stunning garden centre and branded clothing outlets and restaurant. The river Avon meanders gently through this small, friendly town and a stroll along its riverbanks will make you feel a million miles away. Transport is good, trains to London, buses, no planes but Birmingham and Bristol not too far away. Also easy access to the A46, right next to it but open countryside in the other direction, by the town’s football club. Cheltenham would be the place to shop nearby, for a greater selection and the Cotswolds offer fantastic walking, horse riding and mountain biking amongst its honey coloured stone villages, all just minutes away. Shakespeares birthplace, Stratford Upon Avon offers a good amount of leisure facilities, parks, theatres, fine dining. The Evesham area has a choice of good schools and a college and there are further Colleges/Universities in Worcester, Cheltenham and Gloucester. If you’re looking for small town living, next to picture perfect countryside, with good facilities then Evesham would be hard to beat.
Please review your development:
Very good quality new build, high ceilings, very high end specification as standard, far superior to most other new builds. Layout of development gives good consideration to privacy and green spaces. The kitchen/diner has plenty of space and just flows naturally from the lounge. The downstairs cloaks and utility are fairly spacious and also the two bathrooms upstairs are of very good standard, very modern and fantastic fixtures and fittings. The two bedrooms are both spacious and one offers stunning views over Bredon Hill with its magnificent sunsets. One can walk straight from the house down to the River Isbourne which flows into the Avon, for lovely walks or cycle/walk on the routes on Bredon Hill, famous for its peaceful, ancient villages and blossom in the Spring. The orientation of the house East West allows for breakfast on the patio (in Spring/Summer) or sun filled kitchen early in the day and the afternoon/evening sun flooding the larger bedroom (without the en-suite) and lounge. The smallish garden, easy to look after is a good place to relax or dry washing and houses patio table and chairs and large shed. There are cycle ways galore close by which is encouraged by the house builders Bloor Homes in their efforts to promote sustainable living, which is easy in the compact town. Overall very happy with the house and the after sales service couldn’t be better.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The original dishwasher and appliances were cited as Bosch but were changed to Zanussi and the oak handrail was just white painted instead.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Fast responses to fix minor issues. Very good customer service.
