Richmond Park

South London regenerations

Croydon has seen one of the biggest transformations in the past few years. This once rough-around-the-edges district has welcomed countless new apartment buildings, has a brand-new Westfield mall in the works, and is home to street food mecca Boxpark. This giant shipping container holds a market with a brilliant soundtrack and an impressive list of cuisines, and follows hot on the heels of its Shoreditch original. Head here for everything from delicate French desserts to Vietnamese specialities.

Battersea Park

Nightlife

South London majors in quirky after-dark spots. Croydon is packed with night-time haunts, such as entrepreneur favourite, Matthew’s Yard 9 to 5. By day, this is a business centre but by night it transforms into a gallery and theatre.

In Lambeth, some of London’s most famous bar and music scenes can be found, courtesy of the pubs, clubs and also cocktail bars in nightlife titans like Clapham and Brixton. Meanwhile, try the South Lambeth riverside for authentic boozers serving up quality ale and Sunday roasts.

Battersea Power Station

South London’s family friendly hubs

At the other end of the South London spectrum, gems like Sutton need to be explored. Which sits on the lower slopes of the sprawling North Downs. Families drawn by the immaculate (and somewhat affordable) Edwardian homes and highly rated schools. Several parks occupy the area, too. Nonsuch is one of the best, with acres of space to picnic and play, leafy woodland walks and an 18th-century mansion. Manor Park is another – this one’s got a café for coffee and ice-cream stops.

Similarly, developers have cottoned on to the charms of Epsom. A pretty Surrey market town enveloped by countryside, just a 40-minute direct train ride from London’s Waterloo, and 45 minutes from Victoria.

Possibly South London’s biggest selling point is its something-for-all credentials. Its postcodes are eclectic, vibrant and home to all walks of life. Make a home here, and you can discover the capital in all its forms.

I enjoy living here & management on site makes life easier

The are is very good, has many shops around, a few restaurants and bars as well. Transport links are great. Sutton station is very well-connected. Bin collections are regular and the area is fairly quiet and welcoming to most people.

Please review your development:

The building is very good, has a modern design, a few facilities available, the noise levels are good (I cannot hear much from my own apartment). The management is on site, which facilitates the communication and makes dealing with issues reasonably straightforward. Maintenance team is great. A special shout out to both Stuart and Paul. Just today, Stuart has yet again sorted out some issues on my flat. He is extremely efficient, polite and responsive. I had a few maintenance small fixes and a sewage issue and he has managed to quickly go through them all explaining to me the possible reasons behind it in a clear manner.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How expensive it can get living somewhere that is quite nice in many aspects, but not that Central in relation to London. Rent prices are fairly high, even though I must add that management does provide good service and the building/flats offer the comfort you would expect from a modern development.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Reasonably fast, always politely and trying to accommodate my needs whenever possible.

A Gem in Sutton for a family home

Review Date Apr 2024

It is a Gem in Sutton, just next to the station. The facilities and the team are truly good and the planned events are amazing for families. It might sound pricey but it worths every penny, I realised it since I moved out to a different property.
Jezza is the best thing about Wellhouse. She is friendly, helpful and an expert in her job. Tracy and Estefania are very nice and friendly from the cleaning service.

Please review your development:

The size of the 2 bed flat is convenient, the cleaning service for a communal place is good and the lounge and garden on the second floor is super amazing!
If you are new to London or an expat don’t hesitate about this place as your home. The community is friendly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking space.
It is a long waiting time for the parking space as it is limited sopaces.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

In all areas very good apart from the maintenance which was a little bit slow.

Quick and easy move-in

This property is located at the heart of Sutton, next to the train station, high street and a bunch of supermarkets. It offers great options for potential tenants to choose from. The facilities are top notch, and the entire building, premises, common areas and facilities are exceptionally well maintained. The only downside is the paid parking, which to be honest, makes sense considering the locality of the apartment.

Please review your development:

Jezza was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She showed me the apartment that I eventually ended up renting. She also gave me a thorough guided tour of the entire premises, and answered every possible question I could come up with. Even during the move-in as well as beyond, she has been in constant touch with me to ensure my well-being.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I’ve just moved in, so it is too early to say about this.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I’ve just moved in, so have not had the chance to raise any issues yet.

The location of the development is great, near the high St. and just 4 minutes away from the train station.

Please review your development:

The move-in experience was convenient and the facility management team, specifically Jezza Loyola, helped me through out the process and post the move-in.

The facilities are good for families, including residential lounges, reading areas, recreation and gym. The management and maintenance staff is helpful and can be reached easily through multiple communication channels.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

All required information were provided to me prior my move in.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yup, I requested some metering readings through the development platform and the response was quick.
