Just 50 miles to north east of London, Milton Keynes was devised as a ‘new town’ in the 1960s and continues to evolve and grow today. Famed for its roundabouts and district grids, the town has benefitted from a steady flow of new residents from London. House prices have seen strong growth, with amenities and schools now plentiful and high quality. Housing is more varied than its reputation might suggest, with everything from period properties in historic villages to new build homes in chic developments.
Excellent place to live in
The location of The Almere within Milton Keynes is very convenient. Across the street from Sainsbury’s, next to The Hub, a few mins walk to the bus stop for the main routes, 15 mins walk from MKC rail station.
Please review your development:
Design of the common areas and flats is very attractive. The furniture is very nice aesthetically and in quality. The wardrobe design is unusual as it does not have any drawers for underwear or similar folded clothes, only hanging. The facilities are top level, only thing missing is a gym. Property management and maintenance have been top notch so far.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The Wi-Fi setup is not very friendly to the average user. I can definitely imagine a lot of people struggling with getting all their devices online.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, almost immediately fixed minor issues spotted during move-in.
