A great place to live for young people who enjoy the hum, hustle and bustle of the city. Despite a couple of drawbacks.

Location is fantastic with a huge variety of shops, restaurants, bars and leisure activities. Being right next to the water is great as well. Parking is expensive and quite inconvenient, the local area isn’t looked after well enough by the council so there’s a fair amount of litter. It’s also very windy all the time so bins tend to blow open and cause even more litter. Traffic noise is okay but construction noise from neighbouring developments can be quite annoying.

Please review your development:

Building is nice and modern, also generally clean and a nice place to live in general. Facilities are good and well managed, any problems are generally taken care of very quickly. Build quality of furniture is okay but nothing special, to be expected for a furnished apartment.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The effect of the constant wind. Being on the docks I knew it would be noticeable but it’s almost constant all year round which gets quite annoying.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Generally quite well. Issues raised have always been addressed (although sometimes not very promptly) and they seem to genuinely take feedback on board and respond to resident concerns.

A good place to live

Bad – parking availability is limited and the car park is expensive, can be noisy due to a local brewery hosting music nights
Good – a few good places that can be quiet to go for a drink who also host food vendors. Sainsbury’s has just opened which has made shopping so much more convenient. Good running routes in the area and nice views.

Please review your development:

I think the building was designed well and the furniture included is modern especially for the cost of rent. The facilities are clean and modern. It’s good that there’s a coffee shop, although I do find it can get a bit annoying when people are congregating in the foyer.
The staff are attentive and friendly and are proactive to dealing any issues quickly and effectively.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The weather – I wasn’t expecting it to be windy all the time, makes it hard to enjoy walking around the area.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, any problems or issues raised have been dealt with quickly and effectively.

Perfect location in the centre of town with all the bars/restaurants and shops on your doorstep. Also within walking distance to all the transport links. Overall nice safe area to live in.

Please review your development:

Brilliant modern building to live in, well designed and feels quite homely. Amenities are great, particularly the lounge/working spaces and the rooftop which has a great view over the docks. The Apo team are also fantastic, very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Really enjoy living here.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The Apo team make an extra effort for seasonal occasions and decorate/put on events in the communal areas which is a nice touch. Makes the building feel very homely and welcoming.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes any issues we have had within the flat have been resolved quickly by the on-site maintenance team

There’s now a Sainsbury’s local which has made life more convenient. Parking is convenient. The area is nice quiet and secluded. Bit of noise from cars during the day from the main road though.

Please review your development:

Design, location and views are amazing. Management is great, I’ve got point to point contact on WhatsApp with management so my problems can get resolved quickly. Maintenance problems get fixed quickly too through the app. Props to Kadira, Sophie and Dean.
