No local shops built yet and nearest supermarket is only 10 minutes away by car which isnt bad, bus stop outside the estate which is also very handy. Very quiet area bin collections always on time very little traffic noise considering not far from a dual carriageway

The nearest shop is over two miles away. There are no local amenities it’s very isolating and hard to make friends as everyone only stays here for a short period of time

Please review your development:

Property management here is awful nobody returns phone calls or emails and when we moved in the appliances were seemingly filthy. All faults reported but never repaired honestly would never rent through them again the turnover of people on here is ridiculous and a shame to see

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How bad a landlord they are I would never have moved in they give you dirty properties

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No just uploads more pictures to your file. Don’t actually try to repair the problem

I have lived on the site for a few years now and overall its been a great place to live can complain about the house itself. But i would said the driveways are far too small. the amount that the rent goes up each year is a lot.

Please review your development:

Property are looked after well but you do expect people to just be home for inspections all the time. Would love for there to be a shop on site and other facilities such as pub / restaurant maybe even a cafe. You have done well with green space but somewhere safe to let the dogs off Would be good

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I think everything was covered before we moved in here

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Hit and miss sometime a problem is sorted fast sometimes it takes weeks

Hi Tzia,

Thank you for your review of Dutton Fields.

Just to be really clear, Simple Life is your landlord – we are a corporate landlord, rather than a single person.

We’re pleased to hear that you have chosen to stay with us for a few years now and overall you’re happy with your home. We’re sorry you feel the rents increase a lot each year – all rental increases are in line with the market averages for similar properties in your area. We also always try to manage resident expectations by giving approximate timings for all maintenance issues raised, emergencies will be dealt with within 24 hours and non urgent items will be about 28 days.

Thank you for recommending your neighbourhood!

Well maintained home
