Modern condo development in Cambridge

Probably the most modern set of condo buildings in all of Cambridge, spacious, modern, and all the amenities within walking distance. Very clean, minimalist vibe.

Please review your development:

The design is very modern, lineal and minimalist. Although it lacks the character of the older architecture of the historical city center, it certainly has a fresh vibe with plenty of young families and students as residents and private tenants. Quiet, peaceful, and respectful neighborhood.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That you have to go the circuitous route to get to either the A14 or M1 from Monday through Friday. It is really annoying that as a resident of the Ash building I can’t cut through the school and market in weekdays.

What is the best feature of your home:

Modern and new appliances, under floor heating, noise proof windows.

Nearby Sainsbury’s is great. The hair salon is good. For some reason, it’s taking them very long to open more places. The U bus is very good when the traffic is not a problem; it is very unreliable during rush hours.

Please review your development:

I’m quite happy with the building management. Everything is kept in check. There have been no any major issues over the last several years. The hotel nearby isn’t a problem and only adds some liveliness, which is otherwise lacking. The design is nice.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The bus service is very unreliable, so cycling or a car is much better.

What is the best feature of your home:

It’s a pleasure to live in a new building, away from the touristy parts of the town.

Great location and amenities, Fordham is a lovely village with lots of local shops, you wouldn’t actually need to drive anywhere if you didn’t want to

Please review your development:

The development is reasonably well thought out, houses aren’t all on top of each other. The houses are well built and we haven’t had many problems. The road however is not great, and it needs a lot of work to get it into looking nice and to stop ruining the suspension on your car

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Check out the garden layout as the work on this was done quickly and not up to standard of what you would expect

What is the best feature of your home:

I be love the kitchen and living room layout and the bedrooms are all a great size

brilliant being close to city centre and to mill road, bad aspects is cars on yellow lines on the development as it creates alot of blockages on the road

Please review your development:

i really like the layout and design of the development. i like how it has underground parking as this is very useful and saves space on the road. parks are great for families with children. great location of the development with close proximity to city center.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

i would change the parking around the development, there is yellow lines but no action taken when vehicles parked on them

What is the best feature of your home:

the design and layout of the property is really nice and spacious/modern
